Our adjustable through the wall drop box works for walls at a minimum thickness of 3-1/4" and a maximum wall thickness of 7-3/4". The chute slides into the fixed neck chute which is attached to the receptacle. The receptacle has four pre-drilled holes allowing you to secure it to the wall (mounting hardware for receptacle is included). You then secure the adjustable chute to the wall (screws not included) and we suggest adding adhesive glue to seal and secure this portion of the chute.
