Achieve crisp, professional grooves in your leather projects with the Adjustable V-Shaped Gouge, a high-precision tool designed to cut perfect 3mm (1/8") V-shaped channels for stitching, folding, and decorative detailing. Whether you're marking stitch lines, creating creases for cleaner folds, or enhancing visual lines in belts, wallets, straps, or saddlery, this gouge delivers sharp, consistent results across a variety of leathers. The V-shaped blade creates clean, angular grooves that are ideal for saddle stitching—allowing thread to sit below the leather’s surface for added protection and durability. The angled profile also provides a natural guide for stitching tools, helping you achieve straighter, more even lines throughout your work. One of the standout features of this gouge is its adjustable depth control, made possible by a precision-machined knurled collar above the blade. A simple twist lets you raise or lower the cutting depth to suit different leather weights, thicknesses, or groove preferences—offering unmatched flexibility and customization for every project. The tool is finished with a comfortable, ergonomic handle, designed for a secure grip and smooth control during long cutting sessions. Whether you’re a beginner learning to prep stitch lines or a seasoned artisan perfecting every detail, this gouge offers intuitive, professional-level performance.
