The 80/220 sharpening puck by Adler has been specially developed to bring worn axes and hatchets back to life. Each puck is made in Germany and consists of ceramic with a uniform g rain, which means that the stone grinds faster and no oil is required for sharpening. Application: The coarse side is used when the blade has become nicked or dull. Use the fine side to maintain a sharp edge. Work in a circular motion of the wrist/forearm over the curve of the blade from top to bottom. Sharpen both sides evenly and maintain the curve of the blade.
