This solid silver necklace with it's eye-catching blood-red carnelian stone was specially commissioned by The British Museum. The striking geometry and texture of the hand-crafted silver contrasts with the lustrous deep red carnelian stone. A one-of-a-kind statement necklace with a history rooted in classical mythology and folklore. Polished silver reflecting God’s purity and power and skilfully hammered surfaces echoing the turbulence of the Adonis river as it carves its way down through mountainous valleys to the Mediterranean Sea at Byblos. Handmade in our riverside studio in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. Approximately 12cm in width. This stunning necklace can be partnered with our matching Adonis earrings and Adonis bangle. All materials are ethically sourced from reputable suppliers. Our jewellery comes wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and carefully packaged in a branded gift box secured with a ribbon. A polishing cloth, care instructions and an anti-tarnish strip (to limit tarnishing during shipment and storage) are also included. Show more
