EASINESS FAQs A selection of frequently asked questions about the EASINESS Is the EASINESS only intended for short top-to-bottom flights? No, the EASINESS is a very comfortable harness and can be used for soaring sessions and thermal flying. Can I only pack a light glider in the EASINESS? No, you can pack other solo gliders in the EASINESS, so long as they are folded neatly. The extra space freed up by the helmet holder and the variety of attaching possibilities on the outside leave enough space inside. Do I have to take the protector off to turn the harness into the rucksack? No, the protector folds up easily and stows inside. How do i have to fix the EASINESS front container to the chest strap? The EASINESS front container must be fixed to the chest strap by the three hook and loop fastener loops AND the two loops at the sides of the front container. lf the front container is only fixed to the chest strap by the three hook and loop fasteners there's the danger that the front container can come oft and be thrown together with the reserve. The two side loops are to secure the left and right ends of the front container on the chest strap, and also pre vent it from sliding sideways. lt is essential that they are looped over the ends of the chest strap, and they must never be hung in the main carabiners. Is the EASINESS suitable for school use? The EASINESS is simple to use. With its reserve facility and the LTF-certified airbag the EASINESS could be used by students, under expert supervision. Can I use a LIGHTNESS front container with the EASINESS, in other words are their front containers interchangeable? These front containers are made on the same principle, and look much the same. The one difference is the width; the Easiness has a wider chest strap between the buckles than the Lightness. You can use either front container on either harness, but the chest strap could be deformed by the front container and this doesn’t look good. It does not affect the safety however. Reviews My first flight on the Advance Pi was on a grey day with looming, threatening clouds, many of which were dropping rain or snow. No matter: the light weight of the complete kit made walking to take-off a whole lot easier than normal. There has been an explosion of usable lightweight wings in recent years, and the Advance Pi is one of the latest. Weighing in at 3.14 kg (hence the name) our reviewer took one out to play on a few sunny winter days in the south of France. Forget hike-and-fly, this if fly-and-hike!" he enthused after flying a mini-XC on it and landing in a snow-covered forest. - Marcus King, XC Mag (full review PDF, 2.27 Mb) Downloads Getting started (PDF) User manual (PDF) Certification The EASINESS has been tested and approved in accordance with the LTF and DIN EN-Norm 1651 requirements at 120 kg operating weight.
