Advanced Class Interested in learning how to intentionally create basic forms on the pottery wheel and get a little messy as well! This 4 class course is the next step beyond funda mental intro to the pottery wheel! What can you create past the fundamental forms? We work on throwing with intention and consistancy. We will also discuss construction techniques and surface treatment. This class continues your ceramic journey! The class includes clay (Armadillo Cinco Blanco mid-fire clay), tools, glaze, and firings. Students are asked to bring a water bottle for hydration and an old towel for cleaning up. All other materials will be provided. This class is only available to students 18 years and up. Includes:- All clay and tools- glazes- Small class size for personal attention Location: Backyard studio in the heart of Austin TX, with an abundance of plants 7503 Delafield ln, Austin TX 78752 Good to know: Dress for mess! Bring water bottles, aprons provided. Other Important Information: On street parking is available. Report any problems or concerns immediately to your instructor. A bathroom is available for use. Only students enrolled in classes may sign up for the open studio time. Ask before you use a piece of equipment that you aren’t familiar with. No smoking in or outside of the studio. Because of space and liability issues, guests are not allowed in the Teaching Center during classes or Open Studio. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation up to 10 days prior to the start of class, students receive a full refund (minus a $50 administrative fee).
