Create a beautiful & functional boxy quilted zippered pouch using the Holland Pouch pattern by Center Street Quilts. This excellent pattern comes in three sizes and has a super uni que way of installing the zipper and finishing the seams. Skill level: basic sewing machine skills (i.e. comfortable threading the machine and winding the bobbin on your own). What you'll need: All supplies are available for purchase in the store or online. Students receive 10% off their purchase on supplies for class. 1/4 yard or Fat Quarter of canvas or quilting cotton for exterior #1 1/4 yard or Fat Quarter of canvas or quilting cotton for exterior #2 1/4 yard of Fat Quarter of quilting cotton for lining 1/4 yard of fusible fleece 1/2 yard of lightweight interfacing such as Shape Flex 10" zipper (can be longer if it plastic) Coordinating thread Other info: Use of sewing machines is including in this class, but if you prefer to use your own, you're welcome to bring it.
