OVERVIEW PRODUCT FACTS DIRECTIONS Ingredients: Glucosamine Sulfate 2KCI, Green Lipped Mussel, Frankincense (Boswellia) Gum Resin Extract, Chondroitin Sulfate Complex Summary: This supplement provides a blend of anti-inflammatory nutraceuticals and chondroprotectants. Glucosamine and chondroitin provide precursors for the natural glycosaminoglycans which comprise articular cartilage; the dosage provided is consistent with what has been shown to reduce signs of osteoarthritis after 60 days in dogs. Green-lipped mussel provides additional glycosaminoglycans as well as trace minerals and anti-inflammatory omega 3 fatty acids. Clinical trials of green-lipped mussel have also shown an improvement in mobility. Boswellic acid is the active extract from frankincense, a historical anti-inflammatory that reduces the pain and swelling associated with arthritis. A study in dogs showed improved function after administering a similar dose. This supplement is unique in providing all four of these evidence-based joint supplements.
