This is lesson three of our 6 video tutorials accompanying The Adventurer 20 Harp Method. We are now learning how to play with 2 fingers in 2 hands! We are learning the techniques of 'placing' and 'rocking' and how they are written and used in our music. We also cover playing two notes together. Lesson 3 has 5 new pieces in it - including my favourite welsh dance tune Pwt Ar y Bys and the carol Unto Us is Born a Son. Each piece is teaching a specific technique and building on what we did in lesson 2. Having good technique is the key to playing the harp well, these little lessons are very clear building blocks taking you through all of the basic techniques needed to get to grade 1 level. Show more
