Here is a lively 1.2 meter speedster called the Pepper. A great little power plane, but also makes for a nice slope model. The Pepper has a very wide speed envelope. It tracks like a champ at speed, but slow it down, add a flaperon/spoileron mix in your radio and you can land the Pepper in some pretty tight spots. The Pepper is a balsa kit. All the parts are laser cut and designed to "jig" together. The wings are built up in the jig; ribs, spars and then fully sheeting the wing for strength. A 28mm diameter brushless motor with 250-300 watts output, with a 30Amp ESC and 9x5 prop is good starting point for the Pepper.
