AF Remineralizer GH & KH A premium liquid mineraliser designed for freshwater planted aquariums, especially when using RO (reverse-osmosis), deionised or distilled water. AF Remineralizer restores essential minerals — primarily calcium and magnesium — lost during water purification, ensuring both aquatic plants and inhabitants thrive. Its precise formula adjusts general hardness (GH) and carbonate hardness (KH) in a balanced ratio of approximately 2 : 1 (Ca : Mg), supporting healthy growth, strong cell function in plants, and osmotic stability in fish. It’s a simple yet critical step whenever preparing purified water for aquarium use. Key Benefits: Enriches purified water with readily absorbable calcium & magnesium, ensuring robust plant and fish health. Sets a balanced GH / KH ratio (~4 GH : ~2 KH per 1 ml per 3 L) to reduce stress from mineral deficiency and osmotic shock. Ideal for planted tanks using RO, de-ionised or heavily filtered water reservoirs. Helps prevent nutrient limitation and ensures plants can focus on growth and colour rather than compensating for missing minerals. Usage Guide: Dose: 1 ml per 3 litres of purified water. This raises KH by ~2 °dKH and GH by ~4 °dGH. Shake well before use. Mix with the water outside the aquarium or container before adding. Use whenever introducing new RO/DI water, during water changes, or when mineral levels appear low in tests. Store in a cool, sealed container away from direct sunlight; keep out of reach of children. Using purified water requires more than clarity: it demands mineral balance. AF Remineralizer ensures that foundation is solid by delivering precise mineral enrichment. Whether preparing new RO water, conducting a water change, or stabilising an established scape, this product safeguards against hidden deficiencies and promotes strong growth, vivid colouration, and overall system health.
