M6 Titanium Large FlatWasherNatural Finish, Sold Single.Brand: AeroflowPart Number: AF3501-0003Description: Aeroflow Performance Titanium flat washers are machined from 6AL-4V grad e 5 Titanium. These titanium washers are the favoured material when using a titaniumfastener due to the attractiveproperty of being a low-density metal, which has ahigher tensile strength than many other materials, even in higher temperatures. Given this strength, titanium is remarkably light. When compared to steel in a strength-to-weight ratio, titanium is far superior, as it is as strong as steel but 45% lighter. In fact, titaniumhas the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all known metals. The pairing of their high strength to weight ratio, excellent resistance to stress corrosioncracking, high corrosion resistance and good fatigue strength make it the best choice to have in your race car.
