Our Microfiber closed-loop material is made using an 80/20 blend woven microfiber material. This pad is made specifically for sanitation cleaning. There is no sponge in this pad, a nd it is replaced with two layers of highly absorbent microfiber woven fabric eliminating the bacteria breeding associated with sponges. The closed-loop microfiber cleaning face will increase pick-up capacity, allowing you to clean larger areas with one pad while providing a slower release of liquid and a deeper clean than a standard low-profile pad.
