Launched by the French fragrance house Affinessence in 2015, and created by house founder Sophie Bruneau in collaboration with perfumer Nicolas Bonneville, Cedrè Iris by Affinessen ce is a gender-free Woody Floral Musk scent with an aromatic profile of woody, amber, iris, powdery, warm spicy, violet, balsamic, earthy, and smoky accords. Notes Tuscan Iris, Virginian Cedar, Texas Cedar, Atlas Cedar, Benzoin, Myrrh, Guaiac Wood, Incense From Affinessence: "AFFINESSENCE has selected three Natural Essences of CEDAR (Moroccan Atlas, Texas, and Virginia) and blended them with precision to enhance the vibrancy of the most precious and refined Natural ingredient: Pallida IRIS or Florentine Iris Absolute. A drop of Benzoin and a dash of Myrrh mellow and soften this woody-powdery base with their tender caress, while Guaiac Wood, bolstered by Incense, turns its natural restlessness into an almost electric energy.
