The Afras IRCF salt cell uses common table salt to effectively and automatically produce chlorine a pool needs. It provides the same sanitation performance as chlorine additives without the drawbacks of chlorine handling. Product Components: Water and dissolved salt flow through the generator cell. Through electrolysis it is converted into chlorine. Chlorinated water is returned to the pool. Once the chlorine has finished treating the pool, it reverts back into the salt and the cycle repeats.
