The African Dwarf Frog (Hymenochirus curtipes) is a popular species of freshwater amphibian suitable for many community fish tanks. These small brown frog species are native to Afr ica, and are 100% aquatic. Minimum Tank Size: 10 Gallons Maximum Fish Size: 2" Water Temperature: 74F - 80F Ideal pH: 6.5 - 7.5 Water Hardness: 5 - 20 dGH Temperament: Docile bottom-feeder, but may eat very small fry and baby shrimp. Will eat sinking pellets and frozen foods. Prefers to live in small groups. Unless experienced with fish-in cycling, we always suggest cycling an aquarium BEFORE adding fish.
