Writer Johny Pitts left his familiar UK home to explore Black Europe for 5 months and find out what it means to be Afropean. An ambitious project which is expanded with the website afropean.com because there are of course way more stories to tell than fit in a book. In the book places as different from eachother as Moscow, Lisbon and Brussels are visited. Johny writes in a personal style, playing the curious observer role when he engages with afrodiasporic communities across Europe.
