Walking along Avoca Beach after a storm, entranced by a luminous, shifting light that danced across the waves. Its beauty was fleeting, yet profound, and after capturing it in phot ographs I felt compelled to translate it onto canvas. Choosing restraint, I worked in acrylic with only two colours and white, allowing simplicity to reveal the scene’s essence.
