AFUL built its name on neutral, reference-style tuning. The Explorer goes the other way. The bass is deep and textured. The mids are warm and full, so vocals and acoustic instrumen ts get real body. The treble is rolled back, so nothing turns sharp on you. It loves older recordings — soul, jazz, anything mastered before everything got loud. The semi-custom acrylic shells run medium-small and stay comfortable enough to sleep on your side in. Isolation is strong for a vented set, so the low end still lands clean on a noisy train. Show more
