Collected by Steve Hootman of the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden. New to us and we had to have it for the unusual flowers. White tubular flowers dipped in green hang in char ming clusters below dark stems with shiny greet leaves reminiscent of tarantula legs. Agapetes are an understory shrub, generally found growing as epiphytes. They grow best in bright, indirect light with even moisture.
