A unique and beautiful hand carved piece made from Agate. This cat contains an amazing and sparkling druzy and is approximately 1 3/4" tall (from top to bottom). Agate is a captiva ting variety of Chalcedony that comes in a wide array of colors and patterns. These beautiful stones often appear as nodules within cavities of volcanic rocks in which they trap gases of liquid volcanic material. Silica-rich fluids then fill the cavities and cause deposit layers or walls over time (banding). Agate is highly regarded for its stabilizing and strengthening influence.
