A unique and beautiful hand carved piece made from Agate. This elephant contains an amazing and sparkling druzy and inclusions of Smoky Quartz. Approximately 2.5" tall, 3.5" long a nd 7 ounces. Agate is a captivating variety of Chalcedony that comes in a wide array of colors and patterns. These beautiful stones often appear as nodules within cavities of volcanic rocks in which they trap gases of liquid volcanic material. Silica-rich fluids then fill the cavities and cause deposit layers or walls over time (banding). Agate is highly regarded for its stabilizing and strengthening influence.
