Hahnemühle's Agave is one of the more unusual sheets in the catalogue - 70% agave fibre, 30% cotton rag, mould-made in Germany at a paper mill that's been running since 1584. The a gave gives it a slight, lively surface texture you don't get from pure cotton, and the long fibres absorb a wash without buckling or feathering at the edge.Single sheet at 290gsm, sized 56 × 76cm. The natural deckle edges on all four sides are a giveaway that this is a mould-made sheet, not machine-cut.Soaks up watercolour and gouache without the fibres breaking down.
