Aglaonema grow wild in the tropical rainforests of South East Asia. They have been ‘rediscovered’ and make fabulous houseplants for shady areas. This variety is rare and has glossy oval shaped “apple green’ leaves. Aglaonema are in the Araceae family and are commonly known as Chinese Evergreens. This tropical perennial is renowned for its easy care qualities and many varieties have brightly patterned leaves.
