The red was inspired by the red sandstone walls of the Agra Fort in Agra, India [ah-gruh]. The Agra Fort was built in the 1500s and was used as the residence for the emperors of th e Mughal dynasty until 1638. Now a UNESCO world heritage site, this is considered the sister monument to the Taj Mahal.
