"Água das Pedras" – A centuries-old brand The "Água das Pedras" brand forms part of the portfolio of Unicer, the largest Portuguese refreshments. Água das Pedras is an icon and a symbol of carbonated water – with 100% natural gas – in Portugal. A highly rated name in Portugal and with a unique composition, "Água das Pedras” belongs to a very select group, as only 0.5% of the waters in the world share this trait – carbonated natural mineral water. The water is collected in Pedras Salgadas Park – from which it takes its name – one of the most iconic thermal Parks in Portugal and located in the municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, in the northern region of Portugal.According to some authors, after excavations made at a ruined fortified settlement where archaeological relics were found, Água das Pedras was known of during Roman times.
