Rigged with high quality 100% fluorocarbon leader Classic lures at a very good price Ahi showed off new Cedar Plugs at the 2017 ICAST trade show. These are made the way they’re supposed to be made, out of cedar not pine… They include an appropriate 10/0 needle eye Mustad hook, as they should be rather than some no-name brand. They also come rigged on 130 lb Fluorocarbon leader, and that’s a rather nice surprise. So, we have a very nicely produced staple, a bread and butter lure made and rigged appropriately. Perhaps not revolutionary or totally unique (until the additional models arrive), but these are darn good lures and best of all THEY ARE A VALUE. We stock both the single lures and chains, and both are the best value and best produced cedar plugs I’ve come across in years. The Cedar Plug chains come rigged the same way as the 6 inch singles, except there are three four inch plugs in front of the 6″ w/hook trailer.
