Whether you’re a solo designer, a product-minded founder, or a design team lead, this live-online workshop shows you how to integrate AI into your design workflow using Figma Make – alongside tools like ChatGPT, Lovable and V0 – without losing control of the work. This is not a tool walkthrough.It’s a design-led workflow session that shows you how to use AI to explore ideas quickly, use AI to augment your thinking and apply human judgement where it matters. We’ll focus on: when to use free AI tools to think and explore when to step in as a designer and when to use Figma Make deliberately, to add behaviour and realism You don’t need experience with Figma Make and you don’t need to understand AI.You just need curiosity. The result is a workflow you can reuse – and you'll learn how to go from idea → concept → live prototype → lightweight testing all in one session. --- Figma account requirements You can attend this session with a free Figma account. The workshop has been designed to work comfortably within Figma’s new usage-based AI credit model. We use free tools for exploration and preparation, and Figma Make selectively for behaviour and interaction – so no one is blocked partway through. If you’re on the free Figma tier, the prompts we use in class fit comfortably within the 150 daily credit limit (I've personally tested it many times!). The only time you might hit a wall is if you’ve already been using Figma Make earlier that day.
