Aiqidi motors represent a new generation of electric outboards, built on the base of a two-stroke Yamaha housing.On Aiqidi outboards, the electric motor is located in the upper par t of the housing, under the cowling, and the propeller is driven by a gear reducer. This configuration reduces underwater resistance and allows the propeller to reach speeds comparable to those of petrol engines.Thanks to this design, boats equipped with Aiqidi motors easily transition to planing mode unlike those using outboards with submerged (underwater) electric motors, which generate greater underwater resistance and deliver lower propeller RPM.
