Original vintage RAF Royal Air Force recruitment poster for the Air Training Corps - Air Training Today and Tomorrow - featuring artwork by Jonathan Foss (1910-1974) depicting a si lhouette of a World War Two bomber plane on a red background and a future concept for a military plane on a blue background with the text running diagonally between them. The ATC was formed to train young cadets to help with essential wartime support from units based around the country, including aircrew duties, gliding and flight experience, carrying messages, loading ammunition and moving equipment; nearly 100,000 cadets went on to join the RAF by the end of WWII.
