S and S Cycle's Air Stinger conversion, turning the smoothing stinger in a Stealth air cleaner into a second filter element. The Stealth air cleaner uses a shaped stinger in the middle of the backing plate to smooth the air on its way to the throttle body. The Air Stinger replaces that solid stinger with a filter element of the same shape, so the surface that was only guiding air is now also flowing it. The result is more filter area in the same housing, and S and S rates the finished assembly at a 55 percent gain in airflow over the factory filter on a Milwaukee-Eight. Because it works inside a Stealth you already own, it is a filter upgrade rather than a whole new air cleaner.
