YoYoFactory - Airwave A rare sight in the YoYoFactory's lineup, Airwave is a wide-bodied off string model. As the name suggests, the side face has a unique ring pattern similar to shockwaves. Compared to the Flight, it's a whole 8mm wider, making it far easier to catch and mount the yo-yo, the most important element in 4A play. This boosts your overall success rate, and makes basic off string tricks easier for even beginners to pick up. More advanced moves like regeneration and other direction-changing tricks take less effort with the Airwave, thanks to YoYoFactory's design, and you can slide banger tricks like Open Whip into speedy combos. The overall weight doesn't feel very heavy, and you can enjoy long practice sessions without getting too tired. We've found a good pairing with the K-String Normal thickness, and if you get the long string you can get very creative with your orbit tricks, while shorter strings make for better regeneration style tricks. Choose your weapons to match your play style! *Each yo-yo is different, but some times you may feel a little vibration through the string. Adjust the tightness of the yo-yo to match up the marks on the two sides for the setting that is least prone likely to cause vibes.
