1999-2003 FORD 7.3L POWERSTROKE DESCRIPTION AIRAID Filter Company has leveled the power playing field for the 7.3L with the development of an all-new Cold Air Dam Intake System for the 7.3-liter that allows the engine to breathe deeper, resulting in big horsepower and torque gains. The new system replaces the restrictive factory air box setup with an AIRAID Cold Air Dam which also incorporates a heavy-duty battery tray, complete with urethane battery pad.
