Three models available: Custom Works, GFRP, and Universal. Application notes: The GFRP and CW models have the mounting holes in correct position to conform to rules (but always check this requirement when mounting). Custom Works: Also use this model for Velocity cars and any other car using the Custom Works front end setup. The universal model will fit almost all Sprint cars but requires drilling tubes to make sure it conforms to DirtOval.com Sprint rules (also RC Chili Bowl); that is, the bumper must be forward of the leading edge of wing. For every sprint car, the most fragile body part is the front wing, along with its mounting system. Ron Free at Rocket Products has manufactured the best solution so far which combines rugged construction with flexibility so the mount will take many hard hits and survive! It is made of a flexible, durable plastic which does not tear easy, and bounces back to shape after a collision instead of breaking, tearing, or cracking like a mount made of Lexan. It is not as rigid as aluminum, so it does reduces/eliminates damage to the front of your carbon fiber chassis. The mounts come in only one color: black. To acquire the correct mechanical properties for the mount, the manufacturing process is tedious, requiring closely controlled temperatures during the process.
