The presentation begins with the only known titled film made of the USS Los Angeles' tests of her riding-out trolley. Next comes an edited and titled film detailing landing, mooring and docking the USS Macon at Moffett Field, California in 1934. "K-type Air-ship Landing Operations" follows: A color, sound added film made at Lakehurst, New Jersey during WW II. The program con-tinues with a rare, color training film covering the launch and re-covery of the huge ZPG-2 type ASW airship, made as the Navy had adopted mechanical "mules" to manage the big blimps on the ground.
