Considered as scripture for the common man, Aitareya Upanishad, one of the major Upanishads, consists of thoughts that modern biologist must recognize. It indicates the Eternal Tru th in and through its various manifestations. Mahidasa was denied the privilage of sitting in the lap of his father. Itara, the mother, who was perhaps from the potter community noticed the sad plight oh her son and prayed her Ishta Devata, Goddess Earth, who appeared in a divine form, placed Mahidasa in a celestial seat and imparted unrivalled Wisdom. Aitareya, who attained God-hood and authored this scripture of the common-man, and sang the song of Hindu culture. "Ever the Creator is not free to create a world as He likes". We with our actions, known and unknown, conscious and unconscious, are making the blue-prints of our future.
