Ajax, a bust, after a copy by Giambologna, Italian, 1570, of the Greek original, by Antigenes. A large Grand Tour bust of Ajax, after the famous antique marble, by Sculptured Arts Studio, with him looking dexter, in full battle armour. Ajax was ruler of Salamis and a hero in the Trojan War, also known as "Ajax the Great". The original is at the Château d`anet, France. As a standard these large busts are made to a handleable weight.
