AK Quick Cement Extra Thin is the fastest-setting capillary cement in AK's four-product liquid-cement range, intended for plastic track links and other small parts that must be positioned quickly. Mate the parts, touch the applicator to the joint and allow the liquid to run along the contact line. AK's guide shows it sealing a completed track run while leaving the links workable for a few minutes, so the run can be formed around the running gear before final attachment. The square bottle base is designed to resist rolling on the workbench. AK suggests using a wooden toothpick to carry the cement into recesses and less accessible areas. AK12001-B is the matching refill for topping up the working bottle. The bond forms by melting plastic at the contact area; missing material or an open gap still requires filler.
