The Akai Professional MPC Studio 2 is a compact, USB-powered hardware controller built for the MPC 2 software on Mac and PC. It delivers 16 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB pad s, a 5.5" touch-capacitive strip, a 360-degree push encoder, and a color LCD in a thin profile that fits in a laptop bag. The MPC Studio 2 requires a computer connection for audio and processing, but provides the full MPC workflow through the included MPC 2 software with its 128-track sequencer, sampling engine, and over 100 instruments and effects.
