The Kollmorgen AKM23D-ANCN2-00, from the AKM series, is a synchronous servo motor designed for applications demanding high precision and dynamic performance. It operates in tandem with a Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR digital amplifier under torque or speed control. Integral to this motor are powerful neodymium-iron-boron rare earth magnets in the rotor. The matte-black exterior is not solvent-resistant and the optimal operation temperature ranges from 5°C to 40°C. The motor has a brushless system, 480VAC mains voltage max rating, and IEC spec conforming flange. Distinctive features include a horizontal DIN 42950 IM B5 mounting design, a standstill torque of 1.16Nm, rated speed of 1,500 min-1 at 115V and standstill current rating of 2.19A.
