Albee Layer is a rad human. His big wave game is on another level and he's breaking boundaries in the air on a daily basis. Not everyone can agree if it was a 720 or 900 but what everyone can agree on is that is was the first of it's kind with a Dan Boehne shape under his feet. This board is a direct influence of today's modern-day surfing antics. Designed by Dan Boehne and Albee, tested in Maui and beyond. The Albee is a step-down shortboard that packs as much volume as they could get into it without falling into the fish category. It is specifically designed for modern air style surfing with the ability to hold the rail in overhead surf. Albee rides his 4" shorter than he is.
