1921 15 to 18 feet ‘Albertine’ is an excellent choice for use on a tripod or fence. By training this large climber vertically, the delicious fragrance, for which this rose is noted , can easily permeate your garden. Redbuds open to a 3-inch, rich apricot-pink bloom that fades to white with age, making a nice contrast to the shiny, dark green leaves. Please note: Depending on the variety, it's possible your climber can take longer to bloom than a regular shrub. The old garden saying is "first year they sleep, second year they creep, third year they leap".
