Description: Alcon Vitalux Advanced AREDS2 Formula is an ocular multivitamin that is scientifically formulated to help maintain healthy eyes. With 5 mg of lutein and 1 mg of zeaxanthin packed into each caplet, this vitamin/mineral supplement helps delay the progression of age-related macular degeneration (AMD). This formulation also helps to reduce the risk of developing cataracts. This formula is gluten free, lactose free, and free of artificial flavours. Indications: Lutein and zeaxanthin help to increase serum levels within the body Lutein helps increase macular pigment optical densities, which reduces progression of AMD and helps maintain healthy vision Provides antioxidants for the maintenance of good health Helps reduce risk of developing cataracts Directions for Adults: Take 2 caplets per day with meal containing oil/fat OR as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
