The ALD12 stabilises the beha viour of modern 12 V alternators by extracting a clean, predictable signal from the raw, multi-pulse rectified output. It converts the noisy alternator waveform into a linear, stable voltage reference that downstream equipment can actually use. Many systems that rely on alternator sensing—split-charging devices, external regulators, battery-to-battery chargers—misbehave when faced with ripple, voltage drop, or transient loading. The ALD12 removes that instability. Key functions Absorbs massive and destructive voltage spikes that are expected to occur if an alternator load is disconnected during operation (Lithium BMS interrupting charge, fuses blowing, large changes in loads, cables disconnecting) Normalises alternator output into a clean, stable reference.
