The Alexander - F13 Sci-Fi Flanger is a multi-mode flanger with mil-spec looks. It's possible to make this thing work for you subltly, but where this pedal really shines is the f ull-on space invaders sounds. "Step" mode forces the LFO to step to eight different values for very robotic sounds. The "Sweep" mode is a traditional flanger sound. You can pickup on the fact that the LFO is a hyper-triangular waveform so as to allow the effects to stay longer on the interesting portions of the sweep. The "Dynamic" setting allows for the delay time of the flanger to be set by the volume of the input. Get wild with pitch directional robot effects here, and control it with your volume knob.
