For spills, keep cushion covers on to clean—blot gently with a dry absorbent white cloth. Fabrics include specific cleaning codes for spill treatment. Brush off and vacuum dirt and dry spills before particles embed in fabric fibers. Limit fading by using window treatments if placed near windows; heating and air outlets may also affect fabric fibers over time. Some fabrics may show occasional pilling with heavy traffic; this does not affect fabric integrity and can be managed with frequent dust and lint removal. Use a fabric shaving or lint removing tool to eliminate pills. Flip and fluff seat and back cushions every three months to ensure even wear and extend the life of the piece.
