When our designer, Suraya, visited Granada a few years ago, she fell in love with the Alhambra Palace. The architecture, intricacy in stonework, corridors of inviting doorways, the grandeur & sheer beauty of the place, is mesmerising. The shape of these earrings is like walking through one of those pointed archways, and the inner wire piece mirrors the detailed stonework seen all over the palace. The outer circle is hand crocheted with a luxury blend of hand dyed silk~yak yarn, accented with matching crystals. The inner earring section is hand crocheted with enamelled copper wires and framed with similar colour crystals to the outer circle. Materials: Sterling silver earring hooks or gold-filled hooks depending on the colourway, enamelled copper jewellery wire, Austrian crystal, silver or gold-plated components, hand-dyed silk~yak yarn. Earring size: 4.5 cm across its widest part and 5 cm from the top of hook to bottom of the hoop.
