And when those rights - such as owning land or running a distillery - were n’t justly given, women used their craftiness to claim what was rightfully theirs. Women persisted by using a male alias to deceive those who deprived them of distillery ownership. Alias Whiskey is a celebration of the scrappy, well-intentioned women who paved the way and pushed the boundaries to create a better whiskey.
