Giger that resembles the alien spacecraft from the Alien movies? I only learned this myself when Megan and I were planning a trip to Switzerland in 2023. I've been a fan of the Alien movies since I was a teenager but I honestly didn't know much about H.R. Giger aside from the fact that he designed the Xenomorphs and other parts of the Alien movies. A friend in high school wanted to become a tattoo artist inspired by Giger's art and that is when I first learned of the artists name. Anyway, when I got to Gruyeres, Switzerland, I was able to go inside the bar. There's actually a shot you can order called the Facehugger and it was tasty. We sat in seats that were just like the ones on the ship. The entire inside is amazing and if you're ever in this town, I definitely recommend it. Neither Megan or myself spoke French or German, but the bartenders spoke English. This bar was of course across from the H.R. Giger museum which I must say was amazing. -- Nicholas
