This piece began by choosing and being inspired by the various media. Started with acrylic paint, then collage, followed by more layers varying with these and oil-based marker and water-soluble wax pastels. Interesting things happen as the layers overlap and cover each other. Using various media frees me up to be creative with the mark-making decisions. Show more
